Cut and sewn for your body alone.
Every bespoke suit begins with thirty-two measurements taken in the studio. Elliot drafts a paper pattern from scratch — no blocks, no digital shortcuts — and cuts the cloth by hand on the same bench where he pins the fitting. Two-piece suits take eight to twelve weeks and three fittings: baste, forward and final.

02 · Jackets & trousers
Separates that stand on their own.
Not every occasion wants a matched suit. A blazer in Hainsworth flannel or a pair of Scabal cavalry twill trousers can carry a wardrobe for years. All separates are cut to the same bespoke standard.

03 · Alterations
Make what you own fit properly.
We alter any garment — off-the-rack suits, wedding dresses, vintage coats, leather jackets. Most jobs are turned around in five to seven working days. Express service (48 hours) available for an additional 50%.

04 · Our fabrics
The cloth makes the garment.
We hold a permanent collection of around 200 bolts and swatch books from five mills. Every cloth is selected for the New Zealand climate — breathable wools, crease-resistant worsteds and hard-wearing tweeds.

05 · The fitting process
Three fittings to a perfect garment.
Initial consultation
We discuss the occasion, your wardrobe and the look you want. Elliot takes 32 measurements and helps you choose a cloth, lining and buttons. Allow 60–90 minutes. No charge.
Baste fitting
Four to six weeks later. The jacket is basted together in calico so we can check the shoulder, chest and length before cutting the real cloth. Adjustments are pinned live.
Forward fitting
The garment is now in cloth with pockets and lapels. We fine-tune the waist suppression, sleeve pitch and trouser break. Buttons are agreed.
Final fitting
Everything is finished: buttonholes, lining, hand-stitched edges. You try it on, we press it and you walk out wearing it — or we ship it anywhere in New Zealand for $18.
