The Blender Room

Flavour profiles

Tasting Notes

Acai Royale

Deep berry tartness up front, then the banana and honey smooth it out. The granola adds crunch that lasts to the last spoonful. Best with a flat white on the side.

TartSweetCrunchy

Green Machine juice

Bright and vegetal with a ginger kick at the finish. The spirulina adds earthiness without bitterness. Drink it fast — the colour fades after ten minutes.

BrightSpicyEarthy

PB Power Bowl

Tastes like a Reese's cup fell into a blender. The whey rounds it into a meal rather than a snack. 38 grams of protein, zero added sugar.

RichNuttyFilling

Espresso Fuel

Basically a mocha milkshake that happens to have 35g of protein. The double shot cuts through the sweetness. Not for the faint-hearted before 7 am.

Where it comes from

Our Ingredients

Berries: Clevedon Valley frozen at harvest — blueberries, strawberries, boysenberries, raspberries. We buy direct from two family farms and their berries arrive the morning after picking.

Greens: Spinach and kale from Pukekohe market gardens, delivered three times a week. Spirulina from a certified grower in Marlborough.

Whey protein: NZProtein whey isolate from Waikato dairy — no artificial sweeteners, no fillers, tested batch by batch.

Root vegetables: Ohakune carrots, Canterbury beetroot. Cold-pressed the morning they arrive.

Nuts and seeds: Peanut butter ground in-store from Canterbury peanuts. Chia from Wairarapa, hemp seeds from Nelson.

No added sugar. We use whole fruit, Hawke's Bay honey (in two bowls) and dates for sweetness. That is it.

Practices

Sustainability

  • Compostable cups from Ecoware — made from NZ-grown corn starch. Bring your own cup and save $1.
  • Zero single-use plastic: lids are bagasse, straws are paper, cutlery is wooden.
  • Food waste composted by We Compost through a weekly bin swap — about 40 kg a week goes back to soil.
  • Electricity from Ecotricity — 100% renewable certified. The blenders and cold-press run on wind and hydro.
  • Supplier policy: no ingredients from further than Australia, no air freight, seasonal menus to match what is growing.
