Water testing
Drop in any weekday for a free water test.
Bring a 500ml sample taken elbow-deep from the middle of your pool. We test pH, free chlorine, total alkalinity, calcium hardness, cyanuric acid and salt level. Results while you wait, with a printed dose recommendation.
Our depot is at 14 Taradale Road, Napier, open Monday–Friday 8am–4:30pm. Park around the back.

FAQ
Common questions.
How often should my pool be serviced?
Weekly is ideal during swimming season (October–April in Hawke's Bay). Fortnightly is the minimum to keep water balanced and equipment healthy. Over winter, monthly is usually enough.
Salt chlorinator or liquid chlorine — which is better?
Salt is lower maintenance day-to-day but the cell needs replacing every 4–5 years ($450). Liquid chlorine has a lower upfront cost but needs dosing 2–3 times a week. We recommend salt for pools used more than three days a week.
How do I winterise my pool?
Lower the water level below the skimmer, super-chlorinate, add algaecide, clean the filter, cover the pool and turn the pump timer down to 4 hours a day. Our Gold plan includes winterising and spring startup.
My pool is green — how quickly can you fix it?
Most green pools are swimmable again in 48–72 hours with a shock dose, filter run and pH correction. We charge a one-off green-pool recovery fee of $180 plus chemicals.
What size heat pump do I need?
Rough rule: 1kW per 1,000L of pool water in Hawke's Bay. A 40,000L pool needs a 40kW unit to heat by 1°C per hour. We spec and install Madimack and Oasis units.
Do you service spas and swim spas?
Yes — we service Endless Pools, Spa-N-A-Box and most plumbed-in spas. Water testing, filter changes, ozone generator servicing and cover replacement.
Can I cancel my maintenance plan?
Plans are month-to-month, no lock-in. Give us two weeks' notice and we refund any unused portion. Equipment warranties from installations remain valid regardless.
Do you offer a free quote?
Yes — maintenance plans and equipment repairs are quoted free on site. Renovation quotes include a written scope of works and are free for pools within our standard service area.
