What we build

  • Post-and-rail (2 or 3 rail)from $85/mH4 treated pine posts, H3.2 rails. Standard height 1.2m. Gates extra.
  • Post-and-wire (7 or 8 wire)from $38/mNo. 8 wire on H4 posts at 5m centres. Battens available. Stock-rated.
  • Post-and-batten privacyfrom $145/m1.8m height, 150mm battens both sides. Includes concrete footings.
  • Timber retaining (up to 1.2m)from $220/mH5 posts, H4 timber face. Engineer's PS1 on request for over 1m.
  • Residential paling fencefrom $125/m1.8m standard, rough-sawn pine, capped rail. Stain options available.
  • Deer fence (1.9m)from $52/mHigh-tensile netting on H4 posts. NZDIA-compliant for farm deer.

All prices exclude GST and assume reasonable access. Rocky ground, steep sites and removal of old fencing quoted on inspection.

Boundary Post Fencing is Gavin and Steph Royce — a husband-and-wife team who have been building fences in the Franklin district since 2012. Gavin is a qualified carpenter (LBP) and runs every job on site. Steph handles quoting, scheduling and accounts.
