Our Barbers

Marco TorelliOwner & senior barber · 18 years

Trained in Milan before moving to Napier in 2015. Opened The Cutler in a former hat shop on Emerson Street. Specialises in hot-towel shaves and textured crops.

Rawiri HenareSenior barber · 10 years

Skin fades, designs and sharp lines. Rawiri runs our walk-in chair and is the go-to for wedding-party bookings across Hawke's Bay.

Jules KeenanBarber · 5 years

Apprenticed at The Cutler. Jules handles kids, seniors and anyone after a relaxed pace and good conversation.

Walk-ins welcome all day. Wait times are shorter before 11am and after 3pm on weekdays.

Our house range is made in small batches by Hawke's Bay skincare producer Dusk & Bloom. All products are available from the cabinet at the shop.

The Cutler range

Matte Clay$32Strong hold, matte finish. Works on towel-dried hair. 100ml.
Sea Salt Spray$28Texture and volume. Hawke's Bay sea salt and aloe. 200ml.
Pre-Shave Oil$24Jojoba, argan and vitamin E. Softens beard and protects skin. 50ml.
Post-Shave Balm$26Alcohol-free, witch hazel and chamomile. Calms and hydrates. 100ml.
Beard Oil$30Cedarwood and bergamot. Conditions beard and skin beneath. 30ml dropper.
Pomade (medium hold)$30Water-soluble, natural shine. Washes out in one rinse. 100ml.
