Group & corporate

Safety & gear

Every guide holds a current NZOIA outdoor qualification and a Wilderness First Aid certificate. We make a weather call at 7 am every morning — if conditions are unsafe, we reschedule or refund in full.

• All equipment checked and logged daily before the first trip
• Helmets, PFDs, harnesses and wetsuits provided and fitted on site
• Maximum group size: 10 per guide (corporate days: 8 per guide)
• Helicopter rescue partnership with Hanmer Rescue Trust
• Defibrillator and full first-aid kit on every vehicle and at the base
• Cancellation for weather: full refund or free rebooking within 12 months
