- Age 4–7
Kiwi Course
8 elements, ground-level and 2 m platforms with continuous belay. A gentle introduction to the trees.
$25/child - Age 8–12
Tūī Course
12 elements up to 6 m including a wobble bridge and a cargo net climb. Continuous belay throughout.
$39/child - Age 12+
Kākā Course
16 elements up to 10 m, including a 40 m zipline across the gully. The most popular course for families.
$55/person - Age 14+
Kea Course
20 elements up to 15 m with three ziplines and a suspended net bridge. Physical — expect sore arms the next day.

Kārearea Course
24 elements up to 18 m. Our expert-only course, also available as a night climb. Two hours and no shortcuts.

Friday nights
7 pm – 10 pm in summer, 6 pm – 9 pm in winter. Kākā course and above only. LED harness and headtorch provided.

Same hours. The Kārearea expert course under floodlights is a different beast — every shadow plays tricks.

Every night climber gets a free mug of Whittaker's hot chocolate at the base when they come down. Real chocolate, real milk.
Kids' playground
Free entry, no booking needed. Open during park hours. Fenced, rubberised ground, suitable for ages 2–10.
Balance beams
Three graduated beams from 10 cm to 40 cm high, set on soft bark chip.
Rope swings
Two tyre swings and a cargo-net hammock strung between redwood stumps.
Fort & slide
A two-storey wooden fort with a tube slide, a fireman's pole and a tunnel crawl.
Sandpit
Covered sandpit with digging toys. Cleaned and raked every morning before opening.

The Pōhutukawa Café
Ground level, covered deck, picnic lawn. Open to everyone — you do not need a climbing ticket.
Barista coffee
Atomic Coffee Roasters beans. Flat white $5, long black $4.50, hot chocolate $5.
Cabinet food
Pies ($7), sausage rolls ($6), muffins ($5), raw slices ($6). Vegan and GF options labelled.
Cold drinks
Juice, water, Karma Cola, lemonade. Reusable cups welcome — $0.50 off.
Picnic lawn
BYO food welcome on the lawn. Tables and benches provided. No glass, please.
