What we need from you

Your commitments, up front

A complimentary build still takes time on both sides. Here is what we ask so the process works for everyone.

  • 1 A short video. Record a quick video on your phone explaining who your business is, what you do and why you need a website. Upload it to YouTube (unlisted), Google Drive or Loom and share the link in your application.
  • 2 Your content. Text for the page, your logo if you have one, photos and contact details. We will guide you through a simple brief.
  • 3 Respond within 3 business days when we request feedback on a draft or ask a question. Changes requested after sign-off are quoted as normal work.
  • 4 7 days of silence closes your application. If we do not hear from you for seven calendar days at any stage, we close your application — you are welcome to reapply when you are ready.
  • 5 We build in order. Sites are built in the order applications are accepted, and we keep you informed of where yours stands. Work starts once we have everything we need.
  • 6 Hosting set up before launch. Your first year of hosting — $708 incl. GST — is invoiced once you approve the design and is payable before the site goes live. Nothing is due while we are building.

We are launching our managed hosting service across New Zealand and we would rather earn long-term hosting clients than spend the same money on advertising. You get a professional site at no cost, we get a client and a portfolio piece. Straightforward trade.
There is one condition and we put it in the headline: you host the site with us for the first year at $59/month incl. GST, billed annually at $708. That is it. No setup fee, no exit fee, no price rise at renewal, and you own the site outright from day one.
You do — domain, content and code, from day one. If you decide to leave after the first year, we hand everything over and help you migrate. We do not hold sites hostage.
Because the hosting is what pays for the build. Designing and building a site like this is real work, and we absorb that cost. Hosting with us for twelve months is how it balances out.
Yes. If you would rather pay for the build and host it elsewhere, get in touch and we will quote it normally — but that is outside this programme, which is for hosting clients.
It is, and they are a different product. Budget hosts give you a control panel and leave you to it — and most advertise around $3/month for the first term, then renew at three to four times that. Our $59 includes the updates, the backups, the security patching and two content changes a month done for you, by the person who built your site. Your price does not change at renewal.
You move to month-to-month at the same $59, cancellable with 30 days' notice. No renewal price rise, ever.
Seven calendar days of silence at any stage closes your application. We will always email you before that happens, and you are welcome to reapply.
Two reasons. It tells us more about your business in ninety seconds than a form ever will, and it shows us you are serious — we want these going to businesses that will use them.
AI tools may help us process and shortlist applications, and may help draft routine replies — never your video, which a person on our team watches themselves. AI tools never see your name or email during eligibility review, and the final decision on every application is always made by a person, never by an algorithm.
